I have been using these copper polarized clip on lenses for a couple of weeks now and have had a good opportunity to test them out in a wide range of light conditions. I have to say that they have proved to be a real asset!
I have found them to be ideal for blocking glare when driving, walking, and cycling in fairly bright conditions, such as hazy sunshine. I prefer my smoke grey cat 3 clip on lenses for really bright conditions, such as full sun and where reflections from water or ice are a hazard. However, the copper lenses, being filter category 2, are better for varied light conditions. For example if you are passing through dappled shade or going in and outside, you can leave them on without your vision being impaired.
And they really do help when driving, making details crisper and helping you to judge distances better. I have found they help my vision in conditions ranging from moderate sunshine down to poor visibility, for example when there is spray or it is a bit misty.
