BodySpecs lens removal

To change between the tinted lenses on your BodySpecs glasses, follow the steps described below. They apply to all the windproof glasses in our range.

You may find the lenses a little stiff to remove the first time you do it but it will get easier. Just remember that the frame is designed to flex so that you can change the lenses and you need to use a firm, decisive action when pushing out the lenses.

1. Unclip the foam gasket and Rx clip

Unclip the gasket from each side of the frame and put it to one side. If the gasket is combined with a prescription lens adapter, take the two off together.

2. Flex the eyewear frame to pop out the lenses

Grip the frame firmly above and below the lens and flex the frame apart, while pushing the lens out firmly from the back with your thumbs.

This will pop the lens out from the front of the frame.

3. Insert the replacement lens

Push the replacement tinted lens in firmly from the front of the glasses frame.

4. Check all round the lens to ensure it is clicked into the frame

It is important to check that the lens is seated securely in the retaining groove around all the edges. You will hear a definite “click” when the lens snaps into place correctly.

5. Refit the gasket and Rx clip

Reverse the process described above to refit the foam gasket and Rx clip to your eyewear.
