The cat 4 lenses are ideal for use in very bright environments (not for driving).
For bright, sunny days, the category 3 polarized lens is most useful, providing excellent glare protection that is perfect for driving or fishing.
For all those days in the UK where the sun is hazy and comes and goes, you will really appreciate the filter category 2 polarized lenses. They cut glare but won’t make everything so dark as when you are wearing the smoke grey lenses.
And if you are cycling in the winter in the early morning, late afternoon, or in foggy conditions, you will find the yellow lenses really help to improve your vision.
