We take safety very seriously and here are a few recommendations to follow to keep your sports eyewear in best condition and use it safely and sensibly at all times.
- Always try out your eyewear in a safe place before using it to drive, fly, play sport, or operate machinery, to ensure that it fits comfortably and securely and that your vision is clear and unobscured.
- If in any doubt about the suitability of the eyewear for a particular activity, always check first with the manufacturer.
- Never attempt to look directly at the sun even when wearing your sunglasses or goggles.
- Never wear any of the eyewear with tinted lenses for driving at night or where you may encounter low light conditions such as indoors, a forested area, or when going through a tunnel.
- Never attempt to put on or take off your sports eyewear or fit or remove the lenses except where it is safe to do so.
- Ensure that lenses are correctly and securely fixed in the frame before use.
- Check sunglasses regularly for any signs of wear and replace the lenses, frames or frame parts if they are no longer safe to use.
- Your eyewear is covered by the manufacturer’s guarantee for 1 year from the date of purchase.
If a fault of any kind develops with the eyewear or lenses within this time, DO NOT attempt to repair it yourself. For safety reasons, do not use the eyewear again and inform us without delay so that a replacement part or product can be provided. Any attempt to repair eyewear yourself will nullify the manufacturer’s guarantee.
- Avoid using strong detergents or cleaning products to clean the lenses or frames as these may cause them to deteriorate
- When not in use, store your eyewear in a protective case to avoid damage and deterioration through prolonged exposure to sunlight.
- If obtaining direct glazed prescription lenses for sports glasses, we strongly recommend buying shatterproof polycarbonate lenses if you intend to use the glasses for an activity such as golf where there is a risk of impact.
